Michael A. Mendillo
President
Michael A. Mendillo is President and Principal of the Wentworth Group, one of the largest full-service residential management organizations in the United States. Michael has played an intricate role in growing the Wentworth Group from a small holding company for Wentworth Property Management Corporation, to a much larger corporate entity that includes partnerships with companies including: Armstrong Management Services, Cooper Square Realty, Planned Companies, Clean Inc., and Abigail Michaels.
In 1997, The Wentworth Group partnered with FirstService Residential (Symbol-FSRV), a leader in the rapidly growing service sector and the largest manager of residential communities in North America. This unique partnership has helped the Wentworth Group family of companies become one of the nation’s leading providers of services for property owners. The Wentworth Group now collectively services over 1,100 residential properties, 320,000 homes and 3,500 associates across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Illinois, Florida and Washington D.C. The Institute of Real Estate Management has recognized Wentworth as an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) and the Community Associations Institute (CAI) has named Wentworth an Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC).
As President and Principal, Michael responsibilities include client retention, leadership development, culture building, organizational growth and strategic initiatives. Michael has been instrumental in the implementation of core industry leading functions throughout all companies under the Wentworth umbrella, resulting in tangible growth and retention results throughout each organization. Michael possesses first-hand knowledge of industry and corporate trends and concerns, having directly pitched and closed some of the largest communities under management and partners within the group.
Michael has spoken nationally on leadership, service and corporate culture to a number of different audiences including trade associations such as the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), service companies such as Roto-Rooter and Doody Calls, as well as Universities including Columbia University, William Paterson University and New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Prior to joining Wentworth, Michael founded and served as CEO of Mandell Investment Inc., a real estate investment management firm, working with national and regional residential real-estate developers. Michael graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and currently sits on the University’s Advisory Board for the College of Business.
David Epstein
Chief Executive Officer
David Epstein is Chief Executive Officer and an original founder of The Wentworth Group, Inc., one of the largest full-service residential management organizations in the United States.
Prior to his current position, David was Chief Financial Officer of Wentworth for the past 16 years, where he was responsible for the company's financial systems.
David graduated from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 with Honors. In 1985, David successfully passed the Certified Public Accounting exam.
Frank Peditto
Chief Financial Officer
Frank Peditto is the CFO for Wentworth Group, Inc. With over 25 years of experience, he is responsible for the financial operations of Wentworth and its affiliated companies.
Prior to Wentworth, Frank was the CFO at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. In this role, he developed the financial reporting infrastructure and managed the Finance, Information Technology, Risk Management and Human Resources functions.
Frank received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from LaSalle University.
Tom Valleras CPA™
Corporate Controller
Tom Valleras joined Wentworth in 2009 as Corporate Controller. In this capacity Tom oversees the corporate accounting staff and accounting operations in Wentworth’s Valley Forge office.
Tom has nearly twenty years experience as a financial professional in various industries. He has experience in internal control procedures, financial accounting management, financial reporting, and budgeting and business planning. Prior to joining Wentworth, Tom was Manager of Corporate Accounting at Primavera Systems, a project management software company. Prior to that, Mr. Valleras spent six years in the insurance business, rising to Assistant Vice President of Regional Accounting for Willis Group Holdings, a global insurance broker specializing in insurance risk management and mitigation. Tom started his career at MacDade, Abbott, LLP, a regional public accounting firm.
Tom received his BBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Temple University.
Scott Bresnick
Director of Strategy and Operations
Scott Bresnick is the Director of Strategy and Operations. Scott drives and supports a wide variety of strategic and operational initiatives across the Wentworth operating companies. Scott is also responsible for transferring best practices across the business platforms in an effective and motivating manner to impact positive change throughout Wentworth.
Scott brings over 10 years of project management and process development experience. He has hands on experience with businesses ranging from start-up to enterprise size with extensive knowledge of corporate operations and business management including business planning, strategic management, project planning, market research, marketing mix and channel strategy development.
Most recently Scott was Project Manager for the Brookside Group, LLC, where he worked directly with the Chief Executive Officer to develop business strategies and enforce implementation. Previously, Scott worked for various companies, including Lucent Technologies, in both business development and project management roles.
Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and his Master of Science Degree in Business Administration, both from Monmouth University.
